Established in 1923, Playgoers is the oldest continually operating amateur theatre group in Canada. Produces plays or dinner theatre each October or February. The club sponsors the regional One-Act Play Festival and participates in the Alberta One-Act Festival each March/April. Playgoers also holds workshops in various aspects of acting, directing and stagecraft. Membership is $10 a year. Auditions are open to everyone.
