Mayor’s Luncheon for Business & the Arts

The Mayor’s Luncheon for Business and the Arts is an annual event that celebrates and recognizes the important relationship between the arts community, local business, and civic government. Awards are presented at the event recognizing the commitment of individuals, organizations, and businesses who have contributed to the vibrancy of the arts in our city.

SAVE THE DATE! The 2024 Mayor’s Luncheon for Business and the Arts will be held Wednesday, October 9. Tickets will go on sale early in August.

The Joan Waterfield Memorial Award is awarded to a deserving recipient who is recognized by their contemporaries for advancing and enhancing the arts in Lethbridge.

Allied Arts Council Excellence (AACE) Awards are presented to an individual, business, and service organization that have each significantly supported arts in our community.

The Aspiring Artist Award recognizes a young artist, in grades 9 through 12, in the Lethbridge region who is working to advance and enhance the arts in Lethbridge. The award has a value of $1,000 and is intended to support and encourage artistic work.
