The LIFS is a not-for-profit society which aims to enrich the cultural landscape of Southern Alberta by engaging all artists involved in filmmaking, offering resources and encouraging mentorship, collaboration and exhibition.
Lethbridge Pride Fest Society
Community based organization providing events for the acceptance and inclusion of our diverse community. We recognize and celebrate the history, the courage and the future of all Alberta’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Two-Spirited, Queer, Questioning, Inter-sexed and Allied (LGBTTQQIA+) individuals and communities. We encourage the expression of culture, art and pride throughout all events. Events range from dances, drag performances, and film screenings to a city centre based festival with music and art.
Lethbridge Public Library
The Lethbridge Public Library connects you to ideas at their two community gathering places, the Main Branch in the heart of downtown and The Crossings Branch in West Lethbridge Centre, as well as our Bookmobile or log on to our 24/7 accessible virtual library. Offering print and eResources, speakers, forums, concerts, symposiums, art exhibits, film festivals, The Word on the Street festival, craft programming, handmade fairs showcasing local artisans and craftspeople, as well as public use computers and free Wi-Fi.
Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society
L.S.P.S. presents dynamic and vibrant Shakespeare plays in downtown Lethbridge and many other venues around Southern Alberta. Our 2024 play ‘Twelfth Night, directed by Sharon Peat and Cole Fetting, opens on Thurs. Jul. 4 , 7 pm. in Galt Gardens.
Playgoers of Lethbridge

Established in 1923, Playgoers is the oldest continually operating amateur theatre group in Canada. Produces plays or dinner theatre each October or February. The club sponsors the regional One-Act Play Festival and participates in the Alberta One-Act Festival each March/April. Playgoers also holds workshops in various aspects of acting, directing and stagecraft. Membership is $10 a year. Auditions are open to everyone. The Geomatic Attic
The Geomatic Attic is a both a live music venue and live music promoter. In addition, it is an art gallery, yoga studio and advocate for positive community initiatives, both cultural and social. Hosts Wide Skies Music & Arts Festival.
