Stories of Southwestern Alberta unfold at the Galt with interactive, permanent and special exhibits in the Discovery Hall and community-based exhibits in main and lower level spaces. The stunning Viewing Gallery, available for facility rentals, is adjacent to the Museum Store. Outdoor patio and gardens connect to the Oldman River valley walking trails. Access to Archives and collections research facilities, featuring works by Lethbridge Sketch Club members and Blackfoot artists Two Gun and Gerald Tailfeathers, is free. Hands-on adult workshops and other programs are included in admission.

Community based organization providing events for the acceptance and inclusion of our diverse community. We recognize and celebrate the history, the courage and the future of all Alberta’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Two-Spirited, Queer, Questioning, Inter-sexed and Allied (LGBTTQQIA+) individuals and communities. We encourage the expression of culture, art and pride throughout all events. Events range from dances, drag performances, and film screenings to a city centre based festival with music and art.

Experience the friendship of Japan and Canada as you immerse yourself in the quiet beauty of Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. Take a guided tour through the garden, meditate by the dry rock garden, or send a message of friendship to the world as you ring the bell. Guests can enjoy a variety of cultural experiences such as the tea ceremony, watching Japanese folk dancing, or even sumo wrestling. The garden is open May to October and the Bunka Centre is open year-round to enjoy our café and gift shop. Special events and daily programming can be found on our website.
