Karen’s work stems from an early exposure to horses, mountains, and freedom that she experienced and grew to love as a child living on the prairies. Her view of the prairies is expressed with the influence of someone that sees the world with a deep love of colour, light and life.

The Lethbridge, Alberta based mother of four, and full-time artist, has worked throughout her life to perfect a craft that aims to bring enjoyment and emotion to her collectors through vivid landscapes with intense equine and wildlife depictions.

Her work marries texture, vibrance, and an adoration for her subjects to produce pieces that are in demand world-wide.
