Synopsis:
“The Foreigner” is a hilarious romp through the wacky world of rural Georgia. When socially awkward Charlie arrives at a secluded fishing lodge with his friend Froggy, he is immediately overwhelmed by the idea of having to socialize with strangers. To avoid any awkward interactions, Froggy decides to tell everyone that Charlie is a foreigner who can’t speak English.
Little do they know, the ruse will lead to a series of uproarious misunderstandings and miscommunications. As Charlie’s “language barrier” prevents him from fully understanding what’s going on around him, he inadvertently becomes the confidante for the other guests’ deepest, darkest secrets.

But when Charlie accidentally overhears a sinister plot to take over the lodge, he must use his supposed foreignness to his advantage and become the unlikely hero of the story. Full of witty banter, slapstick humor, and heartwarming moments, “The Foreigner” is a riotous comedy that will leave you in stitches.
