The End…Now What? A Guide to Self-Publishing Your Novel
So you wrote a book? Congrats! Now it’s time to transform the words on your screen to the page.
In this 8-week learning series, we will be covering everything you need to finally hit publish yourself.
Classes will include information on:
- editing stages & beta readers (including how to ask & receive feedback)
- finding a cover or designing your own using Canva
- blurbs & back matter
- interior formatting using Vellum, Scrivener, and Word
- performing market research to set up your selling strategies
- how to set up your KDP and IngramSpark accounts & apply for ISBNs
- advertisement & marketing strategies
- launch party planning & execution; working with bookstores; and more.
You will be provided with a PDF chapter for each class, and a free self-publishing checklist at the end of the course.
Folks at any and all stages of the self-publishing process are welcome. Questions are encouraged, and respectful participation is mandatory.
This is an interactive 8 week program every Monday from 6:30 – 8:30PM, beginning October 20, 2025 at CASA in Lethbridge, Alberta.
