Malanka – Ukrainian New Years Celebration – Troyanda’s 30th Anniversary
Experience Malanka, a Ukrainian New Year’s Celebration, hosted by Troyanda Ukrainian Dance Club of Lethbridge on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 in the Grand Ballroom of the Sandman Signature Lodge Hotel and help celebrate our 30th Anniversary!
This event is a fundraiser in support of Ukrainian dance and culture in Lethbridge.
Enjoy a dance performance by Troyanda, indulge in a traditional Ukrainian dinner prepared by Prime Catering, and dance the evening away to the Ukrainian band Absolute of Calgary. Other activities include a silent auction, 50/50 cash draw, exclusive Troyanda 30th anniversary shot glasses, and Vinok/Poyas (Heads and Tails) for children and adults.
The meal will showcase Ukrainian foods with our meal including Baba Kay’s Perogies from Claresholm AB, and Stawnichy’s sausage and cabbage rolls from Mundare, AB.

TROYANDA UKRAINIAN DANCE CLUB – Is a not-for-profit organization with members that volunteer their time preserving and promoting the artful heritage of Ukrainian dance in Southern Alberta. Established in 1994, the Troyanda Ukrainian Dancers have over 60 members ranging in age 3 to timeless. There is no limit to those wanting to begin, continue, or renew a love of Ukrainian dance. Troyanda offers dance classes for all ages and abilities.
