Danse!
On May 3rd at 7:30 p.m. Vox Musica Choral Society, in conjunction with Lethbridge pianists Cheryl Emery-Karapita and Carolyn Herrington, will present Danse! at Southminster United Church. Danse! is named for the evening’s music, all of which is inspired by dance. The centerpiece of the program is “Liebeslieder (Lovesong) Waltzes, Op. 52” by Johannes Brahms. The concert will feature the choir, soloists and 4-hand piano with Herrington and Emery-Karapita collaborating on a stunning Fazioli grand piano. The piano will be the star of the evening; anyone who enjoys the piano will not want to miss this event.
