Endowment

To celebrate our Diamond Anniversary, the AAC established an Endowment Fund through the Community Foundation of Lethbridge & Southwestern Alberta. The initial $10,000 was raised in 2018 during our 60th Anniversary Year.

The Endowment Fund will help provide sustainability for future years and assist us as we carry out our mission of providing leadership in advancing and enhancing the arts in Lethbridge. It will be a permanent, income-earning fund. Initial gifts to the endowment will remain invested, while an annual allocation of fund earnings will be provided to the AAC to support community programming.

Please consider a gift to the Allied Arts Council Endowment Fund.

Canada Helps

The AAC is a membership-based organization. We provide a coordinated effort in promoting the activities of artists and arts organizations in Lethbridge and area as well as engaging the community through the presentation of annual arts events designed to provide artists with the opportunity to share their creativity.

The AAC also manages Casa, Lethbridge’s community arts centre, on behalf of the City of Lethbridge. Casa is a multidisciplinary, multi-generation, multi-ability arts creation centre. Within Casa, we manage a flourishing and affordable education program that provides over 200 classes for children, youth, homeschoolers, adults, adults that require accessibility modifications, and persons transitioning from homelessness to first homes. Casa offers shared studio space to artists on a daily, monthly or yearly basis. Casa is also home to The Gallery at Casa a free, public gallery that features artists with a connection to the Lethbridge region.
