Artist partnerships may be instrumental to the success of a first time effort, for a new muralist. A partnership could be a great opportunity to connect with other artists if you have questions, or to help out a fellow artist, if you're in a position to do so.Which of the following statements best describes you?(Required) I am an experienced muralist. The tour will begin at Casa and follow a route that will include a stop at each mural site. Artists will be able to share about the work & the techniques used to create the mural. I understand that if selected by AAC to participate in Downtown Lens, AAC will determine the site of my mural. I agree to crediting Arts Days Lethbridge and/or the Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge when promoting my participation in the project on social media. I agree to come prepared to work in the elements and have water and provisions for myself. I understand the artwork will remain on the window for approx 3 weeks, until weather alters the work, or at the discretion of the business owner. The business owner has some influence on the duration the mural is on their window. I understand that if selected by AAC to participate, AAC will provide the paint required to complete the mural. The paint must be tempura paint. AAC tempura paint must be returned to receive payment. I understand tempura paint is temporary and that weather may alter the artwork prematurely. I understand that Downtown Lens is public art, and I confirm that my mural is non derogatory, non political, non religious and appropriate for all ages. I will make every effort to complete the work by Friday September 4th, by noon. I understand that I will not be paid if I fail to show up or complete the work.
