Nomination Guidelines

 

Nomination Categories:

 

Business

This category is designed to recognize a business in the community that has made significant contributions of time, effort, or other form of altruism to an organization and therefore enhancing the entire arts community. The business must be a registered and licensed business.

Individual

This category is designed to recognize an individual person who has made significant contributions of time, effort, or other form of altruism to an organization and therefore enhancing the entire arts community. The individual may not represent any specific business, group or organization in this category.

Service Organization

This category is designed to recognize one of the various service organizations, clubs or not-for-profit groups that has made significant contributions of time, effort, or other form of altruism contributions to the Lethbridge community through the arts. This must be a registered organization or society, or a group
that is recognized within the community.

 

 

Nominating Procedures

All nomination forms must be accompanied by a description detailing why the nominator considers the nominee worthy of the award. Specify in as much
detail as possible, how the contributions has impacted your project or organization. When nominating for an award, elaborate as much as possible on
what makes the support/project/relationship important to your organization.

The Allied Arts Council reserves the right to screen all nominations to verify eligibility. The Allied Arts Council reserves the right to change nomination category
in cases in which a nominee may qualify for more than one. An acknowledgement of receipt of a nomination will be made to each nominator.
The award jury will be composed of Allied Arts Council Board members and established arts community members based in Lethbridge. Jury members are
not disclosed prior to the Mayor’s Luncheon for Business and the Arts. In the event of a perceived conflict of interest, an alternate will replace the jury
member in question. All decisions are final.

 

Deadline

May 30, 2024. Complete applications must be submitted online, in person, or by mail on or before the deadline. Incomplete or late nominations will not be
accepted or considered.
