Name: Sandra Lamouche
Over 15 years’ experience in ten international styles of dance; from ballet, to hip hop, to powwow. Most well known as a hoop dancer and contemporary dancer. Performed and travelled across Canada and the United States. Also an emerging choreographer, created first choreography in 2012 which has been shown in Toronto ahd Peterborough, Ontario; as well as in Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Pincher Creek, and Taber, AB. Enjoys collaborating with other artists from a diversity of cultural and artistic backgrounds, such as film, theatre, and different dance styles. Full time Child and Youth Care Worker using First Nations Dance and culture in areas of education and learning, such as organizing cultural programming, FNMI resources, event planning, teaching hoop dance in P.E., mentorship, social skills, etc.
