RAFT Program Comes to Lethbridge

The RAFT or Rozsa Admin Fundamentals Training Program has partnered with the AAC’s Soar Program to offer a two-day workshop on the fundamentals of Arts Management.

Who should attend? Artists wanting more arts administration experience, new board members of arts organizations and junior staff of non-profit arts organizations.

Why attend? There are many paths into arts management. Some may enter the field as a practising artist, a volunteer in an arts organization, or are a passionate supporter of the arts. The RAFT program is for those who are looking to build their knowledge and skillset in arts management. This workshop is a great CV builder!

What will be covered? Topics that will be covered include organizational structure (not for profit vs charitable status), board and staff relations, financial statements, strategic planning (mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, SWOT analysis and evaluation) and project planning.

When is the workshop? Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23, 9:00am – 4:30pm

Where is the workshop? AAC 7 Street Meeting Room, Upstairs 324 7 Street S.

How much is the workshop? The AAC has subsidized this workshop and the cost is $75 each participant.
