Why this course?
Growing up in Lethbridge and getting my start as an actor in the Alberta industry- I needed a resource like this. My goal through this workshop is to help upcoming local talents reach their full potential, while guiding them through the practical steps needed to becoming a working actor. To be a mentor, a resource and a coach.
Meet the instructor:
RaeAnne Boon is an actress best known for her role as Dawn in the Paramount+/Netflix series ‘School Spirits’. She can also be seen in the Netflix hit show ‘Firefly Lane’ and the FX/Hulu mini series ‘A Teacher’. She most recently wrapped her supporting role in the upcoming Feature Film ‘A Cry From The Sea’, opposite Dominic Cooper.
In addition to her acting, RaeAnne is a film and television producer with multiple projects in development.
Currently a production associate at Sepia Films in Vancouver, RaeAnne has first hand knowledge of film production, casting and project development. Through her work as a producer, she has been able to travel internationally, attending film premiers and festivals. She boasts a large resume in the casting world- serving as a reader for some of the biggest projects casting in Vancouver currently.
