Join Coyote Creek Band as The Lethbridge Folk Club presents a fitting Round-up to close off our 45th Season.
Come to our grand celebration. Let’s mark this milestone together as a community united by the love for folk music for 45 years.
Bringing live music to Lethbridge for 45 Years
In the summer of 1979, various people involved in the local music scene met around a table in Diamond City
to formally start the Lethbridge Folk Club. Jim Mountain, Doug Snelling, Maureen Chambers, Barry Hegland, Ross Beamer, Ian Burnett and others came together to start a club dedicated to their love of music, particularly acoustic music.
Little did they know that 45 years later, the legacy they began would be alive and well.
In addition to special guests and activities befitting this event, the Coyote Creek Band will play for our dance.
Coyote Creek Band has played in Southern Alberta for the last 24 years. Playing from the Lacomb/RedDeer area to the Pincher Creek area. Hosting the Jam in Longview for 14 hrs and still managing to play festivals and many private events. They are a unique Country Dance band that hopes everyone enjoys listening as much as we love performing for them. Toe-tapping music that is hard to resist on the dance floor. A five-piece Band that enjoys what they do.
